A poem by butterbyie
He loves you
You know he truly does
But you were never meant to heal from me
You know you can never leave
Because you won’t let yourself forget
how I made you feel
you can still taste it on your tongue
I still come and go as a breeze
In your dreams
I was the oxygen you needed to breathe
You know he loves you
But my love you shan’t forget me
The fragrance still haunts you
Yet will you tell him?
Will you let him know he can’t make you feel
The way my love made you feel
The way it healed what couldn’t be
Strong like the ocean
Yet soft like the ocean’s breeze
This love comprises three
Yet one will never feel-
You will never again feel the way
I made you feel
