A little background of the author!
Arjun is a creative person. he loves all mediums of art, be it literature, movies, paintings. He is a graphic designer and is surprisingly good at it, for his age.
Here are the questions!
Claudia: What’s your story? How did you get where you are today?
A. Gujar: “I’m a self taught designer and I strongly believe in learning by execution.
Currently I’m taking a drop year to focus on working on real world projects and sharpening my skills. My interests are content, marketing, branding, visual communication. I am building a strong foundation before pursuing a formal education in design.”
Claudia: What do you consider your achievements? If any!
A. Gujar: “When I was in class 11, I landed my first freelance project. It was a portfolio redesign for an interior designer.
I earned my first ten thousand rupees. My mother was extremely proud of me and I would consider it my greatest achievement.”
Claudia: What are the best qualities of your writing/art style?
A. Gujar: “The best qualities of my art style are simplicity, aesthetic with personality and at the same time being functional.”
Claudia: How has your writing/art affected yourself and/or others?
A. Gujar: “Whenever, I show my drawing to others they always reply saying, “I couldn’t even draw a circle”
I always like to encourage others with my drawings. If you say that you can’t do something, you won’t do it.
“Drawing is just scribbling, in style””
Claudia: Have there been any drawbacks in your art/writing journey? How has that affected you?
A. Gujar: “I haven’t faced any obstacles in my art journey.
Recently, when I got my phone last year. It cured boredom extremely fast.
Whenever I felt bored, I took that opportunity to build something creative. This hasn’t affected me drastically.”
Claudia: What are your aspirations for future publication and/or plans, if any!
A. Gujar: “It’s difficult to quality success as an artist.
You could be the next Leonardo Da Vinci, and still get no recognition.
Building a personal brand where you show your learnings and build in public. This let’s you build and audience and give your work credibility.”
